Summary

In this seminar you will learn how chance and necessity led to the invention of voiding urohydropropulsion, and how to successfully perform it. To complement our discussion of minimally invasive stone removal procedures, we will identify stones that can be dissolved and the stones that cannot. You may think that it is based on stone composition, but it is also based on the underlying cause of stone formation. Have you ever lodged a stone in the urethral that you could not reposition? We will briefly talk about what the specialist can do for your patients. Come learn when to recommend basket retrieval, laser lithotripsy, and shock wave lithotripsy for your patients.
