Prevention and Treatment Through Understanding Disease Concepts

Free Webinar brought to you by Hill's Pet Nutrition USA - Clinical Series

Key learning objectives: Attendees will gain understanding of the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis and will learn to apply that to therapeutic regimen

Summary: Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common orthopedic disease in dogs and is common in older cats. Successful management depends on the integration of multiple therapeutic options. Clinical cases should be approached with a thorough understanding of the disease process, enabling identification of all therapeutic targets.
Information about the onset and progression of osteoarthritis has advanced greatly in the past 10-15 years. This webinar will update attendees, along with outlining existing and future potential therapeutic targets. Therapeutic interventions covered will include intraarticular therapies, modalities and practical physical rehabilitation exercises along with nutrition.
