Join Veterinary Dermatologist Dr. Anthony Yu and his Head RVT Amanda Adamiak in this webinar overviewing cutaneous cytology in the dermatology patient. Amanda will be discussing cytology; one of the most utilized tools in dermatology, and underutilized tools in general practice. The first half of the webinar will go over cytology basics, to know when to reach for it, how to perform it, and how it can increase revenue, client compliance, and tailor treatment plans. Dr. Yu will continue on to discuss what to do with your cytology findings once you have them. To culture or not to culture? To treat or not to treat? This half of the webinar will review recent studies evaluating the value of culture findings as well as Dr. Yu’s approach to treating secondary bacterial and yeast infections once they have been identified appropriately.
