Shauna Blois
BSc, DVM, DVSc, DACVIM
Dr. Shauna Blois is an associate professor of small animal internal medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Atlantic Veterinary College. After graduation, she pursued an internship, residency, and Doctor of Veterinary Science graduate degree at the University of Guelph and became board certified in the specialty of small animal internal medicine in 2008. As a faculty member, she enjoys seeing patients referred to the small animal internal medicine specialty service in the OVC Health Sciences Centre, teaching students, and performing clinical research. Current research includes investigation of the fecal microbiome in states of health and disease, impact of fecal transplantation in dogs with enteropathy, and mechanisms of immune mediated diseases.
